- Evaluate portfolio companies based on financial attractiveness and strategic fit, develop portfolio recommendations accordingly
- Analyze future capital requirements/intensity and set medium to long term aspirations, priorities and strategic themes
- Monitor and track business performance against short-term and long-term targets
- Conduct CAPEX and OPEX monitoring through relevant KPIs, metrics and templates
- Regularly monitor execution progress of the projects (e.g., actual vs plan investment spending, timeline, milestones and etc.)
- Prepare and discuss portfolio recommendations with relevant boards and committees (Investment Committee, Supervisory Board and etc.)
Xüsusi tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in the areas of expertise;
- Oil and Gas, Corporate Banking, Financial Advisory & Consulting or other relevant experience;
- Professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are advantageous;
- Quantitative/numerical skills are critical with the ability to interpret financial information and to design and use financial models;
- Financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements, understanding local and international accounting principles;
- Understanding of general business principals and guidelines;
- Computer literacy, conversant with Microsoft Office and spread sheet packages including financial analysis and modelling modules;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Azerbaijani and English, including reports/memorandums writing;
- Commitment to work effectively as a team member and to meet deadlines;
- Multi-tasking skills and excellent time management skills.
