Position summary:

Financial analyst position is responsible for tracking a company’s financial performance against a plan, analysing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts and conducting various analyses and performing tasks as per instruction of line manager

Job duties:

• Collect data and develop detailed spreadsheets to identify trends and create revenue, profitability and expense forecasts.
• Analyse historical and current financial data to understand the company’s financial status
• Participation in updating the Project’s financial model and conducting various analyses.
• Assist management in preparation of financial information, reports and spreadsheets.
• Preparation of presentations summarizing financial data and forecasts
• Establish benchmarks for financial processes.
• Assistance on loan management
• Provide administrative support to senior analysts and department professionals, improving efficiency and productivity.
• Other duties requested by Line Manager

Accountability:

• Assist management in preparation of financial information, reports and spreadsheets

Typical skill requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 2-4 years of similar experience

Language skills:

• Advanced knowledge of Azeri and English

Technical skills:

• Data analytics and modelling

Equipment skills:

• Good IT skills – Excel, Power-Point, financial modelling, and analysis applications

Soft skills:

• Ability to prioritize task, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Good research, quantitative, and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
• Excellent analytical skills

Training & Education needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field
