Your main job responsibilities

* To analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support;
* To participate in annual financial planning, prepare budget reports and forecast models based on business drivers;
* To analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements;
* To provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization;
* To identify and drive process improvements including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools;
* To perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation/comparable analysis;
* To review and analyze technical costs by establishing cost per unit analysis, measurable benchmarks.
* To assess cost effectiveness of technical purchases, and build business cases for investment projects.

Your education and work experience

* University degree in Finance, Economics or related field
* Additional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or CFA) a plus
* Knowledge in telco sector is a plus
* Understanding technical costs/CAPEX
* Understanding commercial (sales and marketing) analysis
* 2+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
* Financial modeling experience is an advantage

Your skills and competencies

* Fluent Azerbaijani and English language skills. Russian is a plus;
* Excellent communication and presentation skills;
* Comfort dealing with ambiguity and ability to work independently
* Good problem-solving skills;
* Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and data gathering skills
