A young and dynamic hotel management company in Azerbaijan managing a world-class portfolio of hotels and resorts, ABSHERON Hotel Group is looking for Director of Engineering for its Hotel Units.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Monitors the state of assets upkeep and maintenance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis through physical visits of hotel plant rooms and technical installations.
 Ensures that all emergency and fire-life-safety equipment and systems are inspected, tested and certified in compliance with required standards.
 Ensures that the preventive maintenance program for all hotels’ technical plants, machinery and equipment is implemented and applied in timely manner.
 Participates during the annual business planning in the preparation of capital expenditure budgets and projects for current and new projects and reviews requirements and priorities as may be indicated by the hotels.
 Monitors utility consumption and expenses and compare with the market and hotels.
 Contributes and acts on other assignments as and when requested concerning engineering and maintenance issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 Minimum 5 years of experience in Hospitality industry on similar positions.
 University degree in technical areas.
 Fluent Azerbaijani, English (Russian is advantage).
 Hotel preopening experience is advantage.
